She had many adventures in her life; being a governess in New York City; working on an archeology dig at Fort Union near Willison, North Dakota (her hometown); going to college and learning to snow ski in the Seattle area and attending Law School in her 50’s after raising two boys. She says going back to school later in life was the best adventure so far because she found new passion and purpose.

She admires Leia's determination, spunk, desire for fairness and change to make life better for all. She also appreciates Leia's confidence and courage to speak her mind at such a young age.

She captures life experiences in her writings, often reading them to the writing club at the Fountain of the Sun where she spends winters in Mesa, Arizona.

Her sons, Con and Scott, are encouraging her to write more Leia adventures. She is excited to take Leia on her next adventure.
